ACMA Dance Department has requested PTO approval of ACMA PTO discretionary funds to cover the costs for students to participate in the National High School Dance Festival in Pittsburgh, PA, in late February and early March 2025. The event includes dance classes, performances and most important an opportunity for leaders in dance education and other post high school dance programs to meet the students. The event can lead to scholarships or other growth opportunities for the dance students. The school and parents are funding the majority of the trip costs. The request is to assist with costs for a few students needing assistance. Costs for the trip include, registration, airfare, hotel, meals and transportation. The PTO board is able to allocate $2301 of the 2024-2025 discretionary fund toward this funding request. Funds are needed February 20, 2025.
